Advanced Pricing is an extension app for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that transforms how you manage pricing in your retail business. It calculates optimal sales prices automatically based on your profit requirements and cost structures. The extension provides powerful tools to automate sales price calculations based on different profit requirements across your product catalogue, saving time and maximising profitability with precision pricing.
Tailored pricing for every scenario. Create and manage different Sales Price Lists for various scenarios: Retail Price Lists for standard pricing for regular customers; Special Price Lists for promotional or temporary pricing scenarios; Bulk Price Lists for volume-based pricing for larger orders; and Custom Price Lists for specialised lists tailored to unique business requirements.
Flexible, cost-based pricing. Define profit margins with comprehensive parameters: Profit Percentage sets the desired profit margin for each price list; Multiple Cost Bases calculate from Last Direct Cost, Unit Cost, Standard Cost, or Purchase Price List; Min/Max Price Controls establish pricing boundaries with Profit Calculation Basis Factors; and Price Rounding automatically rounds prices for consistent and attractive points.
Time-sensitive pricing control. Control pricing currency with time-sensitive features: Grace Period Management extends sales price validity based on purchase price end dates; Expiration Controls automatically identify and handle expired pricing; Security Enhancements prevent transactions with expired or missing prices; and Time-Limited Promotions schedule promotional pricing with defined start and end dates.
End-to-end price management. Ensure price continuity across workflows: Price Flow carries sales and purchase prices automatically through to all related documents; Vendor Optimisation creates purchase documents from sales orders using the best vendor price; Price Verification security checks prevent transactions with invalid pricing; and Process Automation reduces manual price entry and associated errors.
