Customer Portal bridges the gap between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and your external stakeholders. The solution provides customers with live access to orders, shipments, statements, and documents via a contemporary web and mobile portal. The app extends Business Central with a fully integrated customer portal, reducing admin overhead and giving your partners the transparency they expect.

Customer Portal

Empowers customers with real-time account visibility. Reduces support inquiries and strengthens relationships through self-service access to transaction histories and document downloads. Customers can access Sales Orders with line detail, amounts, and expected dates; Shipments to track dispatched goods and shipment documentation; Ledger Entries showing invoices, credit memos, payments, and outstanding balances; Statements that can be downloaded with opening and closing balances; and Document Downloads for sales orders, invoices, shipments, and credit memos as PDF. The dashboard surfaces KPIs including upcoming orders and recent shipments, monthly invoices, credits, and payment summaries, year-to-date and prior-year comparisons, and current balance and overdue tracking.

Document & Report Sharing

Provides granular control over document visibility with fine-grained sharing options and instant partner access. Portal display control flags individual attachments as portal-visible with a single click. Auto-share automatically shares new attachments on invoices, credit memos, and shipments. Labelled attachments organise files with custom portal labels for easy identification. Report downloads let partners download any standard BC report as PDF or Excel. Configurable report slots define up to three custom reports per portal that auto-attach to partner records.

Secure Multi-Tenant Authentication

Features enterprise-grade security with centralised user and tenant management within Business Central. OAuth2 bearer tokens provide secure API access via Azure AD client credentials. Basic authentication offers a simple setup option for straightforward deployments. Strong password generation provides auto-generated 15-character passwords with mixed complexity. Email password delivery sends or resets portal credentials directly from BC. Multi-tenant support configures multiple portal instances across companies and environments. Cross-company user management lets portal users and tenants span all BC companies.

Custom Branding & Portal Theming

Allows partners to present a professional, branded experience without requiring developer involvement. Custom colour themes define up to three brand colour hex values for portal styling. Company logo and info display your company branding and details throughout the portal. Menu style options let you choose between Classic and ProduceLinc navigation layouts. Configurable report labels name the report download buttons to match your terminology.

Full Event Logging & Audit Trail

Records every portal interaction in a centralised event log for complete operational visibility. Tenant connection events track every portal login and session initialisation. User authentication logs monitor successful and failed login attempts. Report and attachment downloads show who downloaded what and when. Statement requests log all customer statement generation activity. Cross-company visibility spans all companies in your environment.
