Lightspeed Integration connects your Lightspeed POS system directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The app automates sales transaction imports while eliminating manual data entry and ensuring accurate, real-time synchronisation between your retail operations and accounting. It bridges the gap between Lightspeed POS and Business Central, providing automated transaction synchronisation and streamlined retail operations management. The app is built on the Third Party Transactions framework, which is required for transaction processing and document creation.

Automated Data Synchronization

Real-time Lightspeed transaction import. Automatically import sales transactions from Lightspeed using secure API connections. Real-time data flow ensures your Business Central records are always up-to-date with your retail operations, eliminating manual data entry entirely. REST API connection integrates directly with Lightspeed's (vendhq.com) API, scheduled imports run with configurable intervals, intelligent version tracking ensures only new transactions are imported, and robust JSON processing parses and transforms sales data.

Simple Configuration

Intuitive setup and management. Easy setup with intuitive configuration options through a user-friendly interface. Specify your Lightspeed domain, outlet details, authentication tokens, and account mapping preferences to get up and running quickly. Domain setup configures your Lightspeed domain prefix with ease, outlet management supports multiple outlets with individual settings, secure authentication uses bearer token security for API communication, and a user-friendly interface delivers streamlined configuration pages in Business Central.

Flexible Account Mapping

Customisable customer assignment. Configure default account assignments or use company names as account numbers. Override settings are available for special handling requirements and outlet-specific configurations tailored to your business needs. Default accounts configure default GL accounts for transaction processing, company name mapping uses company names as account numbers automatically, override settings handle outlet-specific requirements, and flexible rules customise account assignment logic per outlet.

Third Party Transaction Processing

Robust framework integration. Built on the robust Third Party Transactions framework, providing comprehensive transaction management with optional mapping to create sales or purchase documents in Business Central from your imported Lightspeed data. Document creation generates sales or purchase documents automatically, transaction management provides comprehensive lifecycle tracking for every transaction, framework integration leverages the proven Third Party Transactions app, and flexible mapping configures rules for document type assignment.

Multi-Outlet Support

Manage all your locations. Configure multiple Lightspeed outlets with individual settings and outlet-specific transaction filtering. Each outlet can have its own configuration, ensuring your multi-location retail operations are fully supported. Individual settings provide per-outlet configuration for tailored processing, transaction filtering applies outlet-specific import rules, centralised management handles all outlets from a single Business Central instance, and location mapping assigns outlets to specific warehouse locations.

Intelligent Version Tracking

Duplicate prevention and data integrity. Intelligent version tracking ensures only new transactions are imported, preventing duplicates and maintaining data integrity across your systems. Monitor your integration health and quickly identify any issues. Version-based tracking imports only new transactions since the last sync, duplicate prevention provides automatic detection and prevention of duplicate entries, error handling includes comprehensive error logging and reporting, and integration health monitors connection status and API performance.
