TabletPOS Integration bridges TabletPOS restaurant management systems with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It automates transaction imports, eliminates manual data entry, and maintains real-time financial accuracy. The app enhances restaurant data management by providing seamless integration with TabletPOS systems and automated transaction processing capabilities designed specifically for restaurant business needs. It is built on the Third Party Transactions framework, which is required.

Capabilities

Real-time API Integration

Direct connection to TabletPOS systems. The integration connects directly to TabletPOS API using secure bearer token authentication. It automatically retrieves transaction data from restaurant locations, ensuring sales, payments, and customer information flow seamlessly into Business Central. Secure authentication uses bearer token-based API authentication for secure data access, business location support configures multiple restaurant locations with unique IDs, date range processing performs incremental data imports based on last transaction date, real-time data sync provides automatic daily transaction processing and synchronisation, and robust error handling manages API connectivity issues. Transaction data support includes sales transactions, payment information, customer data, staff information, and void transactions.

Intelligent Data Processing

Smart transaction handling and mapping. This feature transforms raw TabletPOS data into structured Business Central transactions with intelligent processing rules. It handles various transaction types, customer mapping, and SKU management with configurable options tailored to restaurant operations. SKU mapping provides automatic product mapping between TabletPOS and Business Central items, customer mapping offers flexible customer account assignment with company name support, transaction types support sales, voids, and credit memo processing, duplicate prevention provides built-in detection, and configurable rules customise processing for different business requirements.

Third Party Transactions Integration

Leverages the powerful Third Party Transactions framework. Built on the Third Party Transactions app, this integration inherits powerful features for transaction processing, document creation, and financial reporting. TabletPOS data becomes part of a comprehensive third-party transaction management system. Document creation generates sales invoices and documents automatically from POS data, financial reporting provides comprehensive reporting and analytics for restaurant transactions, audit trail captures complete transaction history and processing logs for compliance, exception management gives clear visibility of processing exceptions requiring attention, and bulk processing efficiently handles high-volume restaurant transaction data.

Easy Configuration & Management

User-friendly setup and administration. Users configure TabletPOS integration quickly through intuitive Business Central pages. They manage multiple restaurant locations, set processing preferences, and monitor data import status from within their familiar ERP environment. A setup wizard guides configuration for TabletPOS connection and preferences, multi-location support manages multiple restaurant locations from one central system, processing options configure SKU handling and customer mapping, status monitoring provides real-time visibility of import status and last transaction dates, and manual processing offers on-demand data import capability for specific date ranges.
