Vendor Portal bridges Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with external stakeholders. It enables vendors to access real-time information on orders, deliveries, statements, and documents through a modern web and mobile portal. The app extends Business Central with an integrated vendor portal, reducing administrative burden while providing partners the transparency they expect. It eliminates back-and-forth email communication by giving suppliers direct, self-service access to transactional data.
Gives suppliers full visibility into their account. Vendors can access purchase orders (outstanding and completed with line-level detail), delivery receipts (goods received with full documentation), ledger entries (invoices, credit memos, payments, open balances), document downloads (orders, receipts, invoices, remittances as PDF), and file attachments (portal-shared document attachments). The vendor dashboard surfaces KPIs including upcoming orders and delivery counts, monthly invoices, credits, and payments summary, year-to-date and prior-year comparisons, and current balance and currency information.
Share exactly what your partners need. Portal display control flags attachments as portal-visible with one click. Auto-share automatically shares new attachments on invoices, credit memos, and shipments. Labelled attachments use custom portal labels for organisation. Report downloads expose standard BC reports as PDF or Excel. Configurable report slots allow up to three custom reports per portal that auto-attach.
Enterprise-grade security built in. OAuth2 bearer tokens provide secure API access via Azure AD client credentials. Basic authentication offers a simple setup option. Strong password generation auto-generates 15-character passwords with mixed complexity. Email password delivery sends or resets credentials from BC. Multi-tenant support enables multiple portal instances across companies and environments. Cross-company user management lets users and tenants span all BC companies.
Make the portal your own. Custom colour themes define up to three brand colour hex values. Company logo and info ensure branding appears throughout the portal. Menu style options support Classic and ProduceLinc navigation layouts. Configurable report labels let you name buttons to match your terminology.
Know exactly what's happening on your portal. Tenant connection events log every portal login and session initialisation. User authentication logs capture successful and failed login attempts.
